Brae Loch is a townhome community located in Boonton Township in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 115 units in the complex which was built between 1996 and 1998. Brae Loch offers 2-3 bedroom townhomes with garages and basements. There are six models including the Alexandria, Avalon, Brittany, Carlton, Dover, and Essex. The Alexandria (end unit - approximately 1,600 square foot) has 2 bedrooms with a loft, 2.5 baths, and a 1-car garage. The Avalon (interior unit -approximately 1,900 square foot) has 2 bedrooms with a loft, 3 full baths, a 1st floor office or bedroom, and a 1-car garage. The Brittany (interior unit - approximately 2,000 square foot) has 3 bedrooms with a loft, 2.5 baths, a 1st floor office or den, and a 1-car garage. The Carlton (end unit - approximately 2,300 square foot) has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a 2-car garage. The Dover (end unit - approximately 2,600 square foot) is similar to the Carlton, however, one garage bay is converted into living space. There are just a few of these units in the complex. The Essex (end unit - approximately 2,600 square foot) has 3 bedrooms with a loft, 2.5 baths, and a 2-car garage. The Essex features a first floor master bedroom suite. There are just a few of these units in the complex. Many of the townhomes have finished basements which offer additional living space. Some of the units have walk-out basements. The development is a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2018, Integra Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $411 - $450 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and clubhouse. Residents can walk to the Del's Village Shopping Center where there is bus service to NYC. They can also walk to the Tourne County Park and the Mountain Lakes Boulevard Walking Path.

Commute

Brae Loch has easy access to Interstate 287 and 80. The community is just minutes away from the Boonton Town Train Station on the NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line which offers service to Hoboken Terminal. Passengers can transfer to another train or bus before Hoboken for a Midtown Manhattan commute. At Hoboken Terminal, passengers can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. Lakeland Bus provides service from Del's Village, which is within walking distance to Brae Loch, to NY Port Authority in Midtown. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 60 minutes. Residents can also get the bus on Mountain Lakes Boulevard, which is just a few minutes away.

Schools

Boonton Township public school students in kindergarten through eighth grade attend Rockaway Valley School. For grades 9-12, students attend Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes Borough.

Shopping

The Del's Village Shopping Center is within walking distance to Brae Loch and features a grocery store along with a small strip mall with various shops and retail stores. Boonton Town is about 1 mile away with a charming downtown with lots of shops and restaurants along Main Street. The Rockaway Townsquare Mall is about 20 minutes away in Rockaway Township.

Recreation

Brae Loch residents can walk to the Tourne County Park which features hiking trails, picnic areas, and athletic fields. They can also walk to the Boulevard Trolley Line Path, a wonderful 2.1 mile paved trail that runs directly adjacent to (about 30-40 feet away) the Mountain Lakes Boulevard.
